ASTEW 2.0 is a two-day technical workshop and competition jointly organized by the Department of ECE and the IEEE AP/MTT Chapter of CHRIST (Deemed to be University). This event provides hands-on experience in antenna design, simulation, and testing using ANSYS Electronics Suite (HFSS).

Competition Details

Team Size: 1 member
Software: ANSYS Electronics Suite (HFSS)
Task: Design a given type of antenna within the allotted time and achieve the most accurate results
Judging Criteria: Simulation Accuracy (Gain, Return Loss, Bandwidth), Design Approach and Documentation, Time of Completion

Rules & Regulations

Participants must register individually; team formation will be done after the workshop
Each team will be provided with a system and ANSYS software access
External design files or pre-made models are strictly not allowed
The problem statement will be revealed at the start of the competition
Judges' decisions will be final and binding
All participants must attend the full workshop to qualify for the competition
Certificates will be awarded to all participants
Volunteers will be present throughout to assist with technical or procedural queries
Each institution can have a maximum of two registrations as contingents for every event

Fee: ₹750 (for Non-IEEE Students) | ₹600 (for IEEE Students)

Beginner-friendly — no prior experience in ANSYS required
